Why NYDEF® Nylon instead of glass or poly?

These are your "Deep Water & Big Sun" glasses. This specialized combination is the ultimate tool for open-water environments where intense, overhead sunlight and blinding surface reflections are your primary enemies.

Where this combination struggles:

Sight Fishing in Shallow Water (because the gray base doesn't "boost" contrast, it can be very difficult to see a brown or green fish against a brown or green bottom; you'll see the surface clearly, but won't "see through" it). Low-Light or Shadows (the combination of a dark gray base and a reflective mirror makes these some of the "darkest" lenses available; in a shaded river or under thick cloud cover, they may feel too dark). Digital "Rainbow" Distortion (like all polarized lenses, they may cause blackout spots or rainbow patterns on certain digital screens or older GPS units).

Q: How should I clean the Popticals case?

30-Day Hassle-Free Returns

If your new eyewear isn't the perfect fit, you may return any pair purchased directly from Popticals.com for a full refund within 30 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, items must be unworn, unused, in perfect resalable condition, and returned in the original packaging including the hardshell case and all accessories.

2-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Every pair of Popticals is protected by a two-year warranty from the original purchase date against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship. If the rail system or frame fails under normal use conditions, we will repair or replace the product at no charge.

What Is Not Covered?

The manufacturer's warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including scratched lenses, or damage caused by neglect or improper usage. (However, we offer assistance for this through our Accidental Replacement Program!).

$75 Accidental Replacement

Accidents happen. If you accidentally damage your Popticals (scratched lenses, frame breakage, crushed frames, etc.), you are eligible for a one-time replacement for a flat $75 fee within 2 years of purchase. Simply send us the damaged frames, pay the flat fee, and we will deploy a brand new pair of equal or lesser value.

Program Guidelines

This program covers comprehensive damage, but excludes lost or stolen sunglasses. Please note this is a one-time exchange, meaning the replacement pair itself is not eligible for another $75 exchange later on.
