    A: NYDEF® is a premium, high-resolution optical system manufactured exclusively by Carl Zeiss Vision. Where standard polycarbonate lenses sit at an Abbe value of 30, NYDEF® uses a specialized Premium Polyamide (Nylon) base to reach an Abbe value of 52 — a meaningfully higher clarity rating that brings sharpness closer to optical glass.
