NYDEF® GOLF SUNGLASSES

Standard sunglasses often "flatten" the green, making it hard to see subtle breaks. Our NYDEF® Golf lenses, powered by Carl Zeiss Vision, use specific purple and violet tints that reduce the saturation of the color green. This "unmasks" the terrain, allowing you to see grain direction, slopes, and contours that are invisible to the naked eye or through gray-tinted lenses.

No. In fact, we recommend keeping them on. Because our lenses provide high-contrast clarity without distorting depth perception, you can read the green with more precision while your eyes stay relaxed and protected from the sun.

The contrast-enhancing tints make the white of the golf ball "pop" against both the green grass and the blue or gray sky. This makes it significantly easier to track your ball in flight and find it in the rough.

Intentionally, no. While polarization is great for water, it can actually be a disadvantage on the golf course. Polarized lenses can distort depth perception and "flatten" your view of the terrain. Our NYDEF® Golf lenses are non-polarized to ensure 100% accurate depth perception and a true-to-life view of every slope.

Most sports sunglasses use polycarbonate. NYDEF® golf lenses are made of a premium nylon that is 20% lighter and offers significantly higher optical purity. This means less "visual noise" and a sharper image from the first tee to the 18th green.
