Why NYDEF® Nylon instead of glass or poly?

Glass is too heavy and shatters. Polycarbonate is light but distorts light (low Abbe value). NYDEF® Polyamide gives you the optical clarity of glass at a fraction of the weight, with extreme impact resistance.

Where this lens excels:

These are your "Soothing Contrast" glasses. Designed for the high-glare environments of coastal marshes and vegetation-heavy lakes, green lenses offer a unique middle ground—providing better depth perception than gray, but with a much "cooler" and more restful viewing experience than high-contrast copper or brown.

Where this combination struggles:

Tannin or "Tea-Colored" Water (in brown or reddish river water, a green lens will struggle; it lacks the "warmth" needed to cut through red/brown sediment—a copper or brown lens is superior here). Deep Blue Water (out in the open ocean, a green lens can make the water look slightly "muddy" or grayish, failing to provide the sharp, crisp horizon line found with a blue mirror or gray base). Very Low Light (most high-quality green lenses are fairly dark; they aren't the best choice for a dark, foggy morning or a heavily shaded creek). Digital "Rainbow" Distortion (like all polarized lenses, they may cause blackout spots or rainbow patterns on certain digital screens).

Q: How should I clean the Popticals case?

30-Day Hassle-Free Returns

If your new eyewear isn't the perfect fit, you may return any pair purchased directly from Popticals.com for a full refund within 30 days of receiving your order. To be eligible, items must be unworn, unused, in perfect resalable condition, and returned in the original packaging including the hardshell case and all accessories.

*Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and assume the risk of loss during transit; a trackable parcel service is highly recommended.

Every pair of Popticals is built to exacting Milanese standards and subjected to rigorous quality control. We stand behind our craftsmanship with our Peace of Mind Program.

2-Year Manufacturer Warranty

Every pair of Popticals is protected by a two-year warranty from the original purchase date against manufacturer's defects in materials or workmanship. If the rail system or frame fails under normal use conditions, we will repair or replace the product at no charge.

What Is Not Covered?

The manufacturer's warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including scratched lenses, or damage caused by neglect or improper usage. (However, we offer assistance for this through our Accidental Replacement Program!).

Our unique program for active lives. If you manage to break your Popticals outside of the standard warranty, we've got your back.

$75 Accidental Replacement

Accidents happen. If you accidentally damage your Popticals (scratched lenses, frame breakage, crushed frames, etc.), you are eligible for a one-time replacement for a flat $75 fee within 2 years of purchase. Simply send us the damaged frames, pay the flat fee, and we will deploy a brand new pair of equal or lesser value.

Program Guidelines

This program covers comprehensive damage, but excludes lost or stolen sunglasses. Please note this is a one-time exchange, meaning the replacement pair itself is not eligible for another $75 exchange later on.
