That is precisely what they were designed for. Traditional safety glasses cause two problems under heavy ear protection: thick rigid temples break the acoustic seal of the ear muffs — letting damaging noise in — and they dig into the skull, creating pressure-point migraines within an hour. POPZULU™ addresses this with Swiss Grilamid TR90 frames engineered with an ultra-thin Comms-Seal temple profile. The temples slide flush against the skull, contouring under electronic hearing protection and ballistic helmets without breaking the noise-canceling seal and without the pressure discomfort. Integrated temple ports also allow quick-connect retention straps to be attached for zero-slip fit during high-recoil shooting or heavy exertion.
How do POPZULU™ ballistic glasses fit into a gear kit?
This is the core logistical innovation. Traditional full-wrap ballistic glasses come in cases roughly the size of a brick — so operators leave them in the vehicle. POPZULU™ uses the patented FL2 Micro-Rail® system to collapse the full-wrap frame to a fraction of its deployed size. The collapsed frame stows in a crush-proof ABS Hard Shell vault equipped with an integrated carabiner and a reinforced loop, allowing it to mount directly to MOLLE webbing on a plate carrier, a duty belt, a range bag, or an IFAK kit.
